Day 47 of 365

OK..I promised you before & afters...so here you go. The UGLY before:

Tile..notice the grossness of it all...embarrassed to show this even!

The blue tub...it had to go...and the yucky vinyl floor...again...had to go. Notice the lovely Elmo sticker on the floor too. LOL...Eleanor is a professional decorator remember :)

Here's the ginormous mirror/medicine cabinet...I really hated that thing. It was so loud and squeaky every.time.you.opened it. Gotta go!

And now...the moment you've been waiting for....the AFTER....and it's glorious!!

The new tile shower and new window frame...it's beautiful...

The new gorgeous tile floor..and new oval toilet. You can catch a glimpse of the new shower curtain I picked up from Target. It's the color that the walls used to be :)

And finally....the new medicine cabinet

It's amazing...we're truly in awe of how beautiful it turned out. And in just over a week...total transformation! We can't wait for people to come visit so we can show it off...and hang out in there...have cocktails...play some games...LOL...it's the best room in our little house!! :)

Day 42 of 365

Ellie's Fashion Friday! Had to snap this one quick...cuz it wasn't too long after she ripped the high ponytail out and got lunch all over her shirts. Anywhoo...she's in Gap tights, Old Navy denim skirt, Old Nave long sleeve tee, and a handmedown shirt from her cousins that's Gymboree. She was loving the little flower ties on the side.

Good news on the bathroom renovation...tile is down, grout is done, and 2 coats of primer done. Oh and the holes in our kitchen ceiling are fixed! Whoohoo!! It's a Happy Friday here :)

Day 39 of 365

We have a tub! Whoohoo...and we have some new plumbing. He had to convert our 3 knob setup to a 1 knob. These are technical terms...it's just how I explain it :) So we also have 2 big holes in our kitchen ceiling...but that's ok. :) All we be fixed tomorrow...when drywall goes up! Yay!! And Thursday is tile....I can't wait...I can't wait :) More good stuff to come!!

Day 38 of 365

Kitchen sink bath! So demo day was upon us today!! We have no shower/tub/toilet/sink...anything upstairs in our bathroom. We only have the half bath downstairs...so yes...I've not showered today :) Good thing you can't smell me through the computer! We have gym memberships...so we'll be taking full advantage of them tomorrow. And this little one...gets to have her bath in the kitchen sink. This was her first time in there. And she's almost 2! It's about time we got in there...and snapped a picture. She had a great time in there. And I love a picture of her with our coffee pot!! LOL :)

Day 31 of 365

Our new bathroom tile. Well...it's not installed yet...but we picked it out today. I know...lousy shot...taken with my phone...and this just doesn't do it justice. It's a gorgeous neutral color...and the top scrolly part is the decorative trim they will add at about eye level in the shower. Oh...I can't wait!! They come next week to start. Needless to say...our house will be a disaster...and we'll be showering at the gym since this is our only full bath. It will ALL be worth it in the end :) I'll be posting before shots of the bathroom this week :) Happy Monday!!
