Success today! Whoohoo! She still didn't like Pluto...must be his big face...but she loved Heelo (Lilo) :) She liked Stitch & Mickey enough to high five...so we call that a success :)

Character meal FAIL.
That pretty much sums up our breakfast with Pooh & friends. The bright side...she warmed up a little to Piget (Piglet). So we sucked it up and we'll push on ;) We did get to see Jasmine & Aladdin and she loved them!

Magic kingdom!! Its so hot...but we're having a blast :) Epcot for dinner tonight!!

Nap head. She took another almost 3 hour nap today. She's been battling a spring cold the last couple weeks...and our schedule has been all out of whack too. So I guess she's just resting well...that's what I need. We'll be up SUPER early tomorrow morning...as we head out. All the last minute running around is going on today...who am I kidding...all that running around happens on a daily basis :)

See what I mean? Now she has a Tinkie Bell backpack to hold all her stuff while we're on the plane. I am trying so hard not to take too much with us...but since we're not driving this time...it really limits how much you can bring :) At least she can carry this bag :)

Sleeping Bluety...no that's not a typo...that's how it's pronounced in our house :) We're gearing up for our trip to Disney...and no doubt we'll be purchasing some costumes while we're down there. She's SO into the princesses now. And don't even get me started on Tangled...

Happy Easter! He has Risen! :)

We had a great Easter with Daddy's family...and got 2...yes...2 chocolate bunnies. She couldn't wait to eat one...so she had a nibble before breakfast :) She gets that from me I think!!

Having lunch with her best buddy :) We had lunch with our good friends today..and their daughter is just 3 days younger than Ellie...and so here they are eating their pizza :) Ellie looks like she's got her face in it...but trust me...this time she didn't :)

Ellie's Fashion Friday! Sorry it's a little blurry...but this girl was jumping! Or I should say..."boinging"...that's her phrase :) Everything is from Gymboree...that I got on a huge sale when she was still a baby baby...like 4 months old baby. Boy was I thinking ahead :) Glad I did :)

Rainbow :) Don't you just love when you see one? This one was on our way back from the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. We had a blast...and it was hot as hades! But the rain came and cooled it down a little. And we were blessed with this little gem :)

Swinging with her cousins! Here they are...at their soon to be new house/playset! Ellie & I went down to visit my sister and we got to take a peek at their new house. It's awesome!! And as you can see...the kids love the playset :) We can't wait to visit again when they're all moved in. Congrats guys!!

Checking out the bunnies. We went to the library today to hear an animal story and to see farm animals from the local park. She went nuts over the baby animals. She kept saying..."so CUTE!" It was hilarious!! I think the bunnies were both of our favorites :)

Dancing queen! She was trying on her new dress from Grammie C...and she was twirling :) Love that! Today is my birthday...and this was a great treat for me to see :)

Easter egg hunt! She was a pro hunter today. She started scoping out all the eggs as soon as she hit the ground. The girl was running after eggs...and filled up her basket pretty quickly. The day was spent consuming chocolate eggs and bit o honeys....and that was just me! I kid I kid...she had plenty of candy today :)

Hiding. She's become a master hider. One day not long ago she sneaked upstairs and hid from me. I looked all over for her and based on my previous posts about how small our house is, you know there's no way I could lose my child in this place. The only reason I found her was because I saw a pillow move on the floor. She was under the pile of pillows from our bed that were on the floor. Little stinker! So now hiding is funny and she does it all the time. Perfect.

Ellie's Fashion Friday! Today she's wearing an ON polo and skort from Carter's. Our computer is on the fritz so for a few days these will be coming from my phone :) So happy Friday everyone!!!

Headband. On a stack of file folders...which is then on top of multi purpose paper. This is my life people. Our house is small...2 bedrooms..and our bedroom is also the office. And Ellie's room is also the guest room. We cram everything we have into this little house in hopes that one day, we'll get to have a bigger space. It doesn't help that the little monster insists on dragging her stuff all over with her...from room to room. I've decided to just keep a basket of stuff in our room for her to play with when she's in here. That basket was half empty...and now it's full...all the time. Go figure. That's the life of a parent I guess. Eventually they learn to clean up after themselves...right? Right????? Please tell me it gets better.....

Box head. She loves to play in boxes...well...what kid doesn't for that matter. Why we spend some much $$ on toys/dolls/useless junk...when we could just give them a box. Some of my favorite memories are of playing with my grandma's old spice tins...I would cover them in paper and tape around them and use them as beds for my Barbies. Shoeboxes were elevators or couches...or beds again. Kids just don't do that kind of stuff anymore...maybe I need to start a small revolution in our house. I say this now...but we're heading to Disney soon...and what am I going to buy??? Useless junk...of course...because it makes her face light up like a Christmas tree. I can't win.....

Burning the midnight oil. Up late editing pictures from my latest maternity session. I like to make a list of all the shots I want to open up and look at and edit. I should probably get on board with everyone and start using LR...but I'm pretty content with Adobe Bridge. I know I know...I could probably do so much more in LR...what can I say. I'm a creature of habit...and I like knowing what I'm doing...and I'm sure I wouldn't have the first clue in LR :) So instead...I make a list. I like lists. Lists make me comfortable :) I like comfortable...especially when I'm up late :) Ok...enough rambling....back to work!

Taking on the Jellies today man. :) If you've seen Finding Nemo as many times as I have...you start to find ways to quote it wherever you go. We spent the day as a family in the Inner Harbor at the National Aquarium. And we had a blast! We got to see Dora & Diego in 4D...and got to see the dolphin show. So fun! It was a gorgeous day out...and it got us all geared up for our Disney trip :)

Hey good lookin! She's starting to either get allergies...pollen is starting...or she's got a cold. Bummer. Poor little nose...it's either stuffy or runny these days. It's slowing her down...a little...but she's still truckin. :)

Getting photography help. From the dear hubby. He was kind enough to let me open my birthday gift early so I could use it for my photo shoot tonight. And I made him help me practice. Such a good hubby!! :) Thanks honey!!

This was how I found my sleeping child tonight. Passed out cold...with feet sticking out of the crib...face fully covered with her favorite blankie....and snoring like an old man.

It's time to move her out of the crib I think. She's getting too big!

People Magazine. I love this...but not for the articles...I love it mostly because I'm getting it for free still. I have called the magazine...told them that no one lives here by this name...and that the address is false...and they still insist on sending it to me. I don't know...but if you would like any back issues of People magazine...let me know. FYI I've done all the crosswords...so if that's what you want it for...too bad :) LOL

Broccolini. I love this stuff! I love broccoli...but there's something about this that is so much better. Maybe it's the long stems...or maybe it's just how I cook it. Y. to the U to the double M to the O! I love it :)

Cherry Blossom Love! Our favorite place to visit this time of year. We go into the city every year to see them...and visit the bench we sat on for our first date...and where my DH proposed to me :) We took Ellie when she was just weeks old...and we get pics of us on our bench each year :) Good memories!!

Yes...that's me and my hubby. We were getting ready to leave for his work 70's party. No...he doesn't really have that much facial hair...or hair that long! We had a great time...and Eleanor got to hang out with Grammie C for the night...while we partied away...LOL. We didn't party away the night...but we did enjoy our night out with the kiddo :)

Ellie's Fashion Friday! Today she's wearing a new spring top from Carters...and she wore black leggings with it from ON..and a black sweater from Target...with her croc wannabe's from Children's Place. I can't get over how big she looks in this picture. We were just playing in her room...and she posed like this for me :) Better that she learns that now I guess :) Happy Friday!!
