Yes...that's a rose...that bloomed in our yard. And it's how many days till Christmas?? This is not Christmasy weather. And yes...I really need to trim this rose bush back now!! :)

Christmas decorations! Yay!! We got our lights up and our stockings. I just love this time of year. I get all choked up when I hear some of my favorite Christmas songs...and there's just a feeling in the air that I love. This year Ellie gets it...and is just as excited as I am :)

Dinner out with Poppie! We are gearing up for Thanksgiving...and Poppie came to visit...and took us out to dinner!! Ellie was in rare form tonight...and was bouncing all over the booth! Poor Poppie had to sit next to Miss Wiggle Worm!! We're so excited for Turkey Day!!

Family Picture Day!! Whoohoo!! We had perfect weather for it today. And now we're just waiting on pins and needles...dying to see how they turned out!! Many thanks to Anne for helping us out today. We have a limited amount of decent pictures of the three of us together...so I'm so excited to start hanging them up around the house :)

Sleepy girl! Kinda hard to see...but it's because I took it in the middle of the night...so was laying horizontal in her bed...and looked all snuggly. I love seeing her sleep :)

Dance class!! Pretty soon Ellie will be moving up to the tap & ballet class!! We can't wait. If she gets to...she'll have an actual recital! Love it!!

We're ready for Christmas now! Granny Lou Lou got Ellie the Fisher Price nativity set...and we had loads of fun playing with it today!!

A gift in the mail! I got a wonderful gift waiting at my doorstep this morning. I love me some Vera Bradley...and this will be perfect for our Disney trip coming up!! We might all just be able to carry on all of our luggage...especially when I have a fabulous bag like this to use!! :)

Leaves! This time of year rolls around...and the side of our street gets hammered with leaves. The other side...nothing...not a single leaf over there. Good thing we don't have to rake them up...the condo association pays for that...well...I guess I should say...WE pay to have other people rake them up. :) LOL. At any rate...we played in them today...and had a ball :)

Turkey hat revisited. She finally wants to wear this...and guess what. It's way to small now. She hated this hat when she was a baby. So I guess that gives me hope that other things she doesn't like right now will eventually be on her favorites list. Things like broccoli and potatoes :)

Ellie's Christmas tree. I've been busy with sessions these last couple weeks...and been using some Christmas props. Ellie found my little tree...and decided to redecorate it with all sorts of stuff. She dumps stuff on it...stands back and says.."it's so adorable." Funny girl!

Train party! We had a great time today at our friends train theme birthday party! A train ride, lots of pizza & cake :)

Yes...that's right folks....it's my version of a Mickey Mouse waffle...cuz we're going back to Disney! In less than a 100 days! Whoohoo!! We never tire of that place...obviously...and we wanted to go again because she's even more into the princesses than she was when we went this past April/May. We can't wait!!

Big helper...or is it? LOL...she loves to help feed our dog Maggie...and today...she was torturing her instead. She decided she wanted to put in one piece at a time. Poor Maggie...sat there and watched her put in little pieces...and she kept trying to push past her to eat them. Eventually she just dumped them in....

We have pretty much stopped wearing regular clothes while we're at home. This girl...I tell ya...she would much rather be in undies and nothing else. If she's not dressed up like a princess...this is how she is.

Her first HAIRCUT! Yes...we made it over 2.5 years before cutting her hair...she didn't really need it...but she asked for it. Mommy & Daddy needed theirs cut...and she said she wanted hers cut too...so we did it! Just cleaned up the ends a bit...but she has natural layers in her hair..so it looks great!! :) Big girl!!

Playing dolls. Her cousin Emily gave her some of her old dolls this week...and Ellie's been playing non stop with them....and today was nothing different. Her and I were playing with them...and she brought in the dog...that I guess...thinks is a cat...because he goes from being a dog to a cat very quickly :)

Singing. So she found our travel scale...and it also has a flashlight at the one end. She loves to turn it on and look for ghosts in her room...and today she was pretending to use it as a microphone. I guess we know of something to put on her Christmas list!

Guess what she asked to wear today? Yup...her Belle costume. I told her she can wear it as much as she wants now :) She lives in this now :)
