Holy trantrum Batman! Yes...I'm "That" mom that takes pics of her kid while they're tantruming. She's never had one like this before...so I had to document. Hope we don't have another one like that anytime soon!!

Bath time! Well...imagination style bath. Today was our yoga workout, and I left my mat out, and Ellie said it was her bathtub. Heehee...so she was busy "taking a bath "....so glad this kid thinks of fun things like this :)

Clothes! Here's the pile of clothes we got yesterday. Like I said...lots of good stuff. A nice coat for church...some great skirts...a few dresses...2 pairs of shoes...some tights...and some t-shirts. I wasn't impressed with my usual go to store Carter's. Maybe they sold out of stuff earlier...but they didn't have anything I liked. I went a little nuts at H&M...so maybe that will be my go to store from now on. Now that she's older...other stores just don't have cute stuff for size 3T. Well...Gymboree does...but I can't afford that place for all her clothes!!

Honk Honk! Hot Dog Truck coming through! Ellie & I hit the mall yesterday for some much needed fall clothes shopping for her. Not much fits from last year...so we needed to load up on some good stuff. Funny little story to share too. We hit a couple stores first...didn't find too much and then went to H&M. I'd never been in one before...but knew people said they had good clothes for kids. So we ventured in. Found some GREAT stuff...and Ellie was running around the store..burning off some energy...and busy showing me things she liked. Well we pay and go to head out...and we set off the alarm. Great! So the security guy came over and we checked our bags and no tags left on...so he said it was probably my cell phone. Weird. That's never happened before. So we left...and went into the next store...and we set it off going in..and coming back out. By now I'm just warning the store clerks ahead of time that I'm going to set it off and that it's just my cell phone. Fast forward to later...running errands at Kmart. We set that thing off AGAIN. So weird...and by now I'm embarrassed as ever. I could not figure out why my phone was doing that again. Well we got what we needed and headed toward the checkout. I looked in my purse to find my wallet...and what did I find in there??? One of those sill sensor thingies! I saw Ellie playing with it and thought she put it back when we were at H&M...but nope...she put that sucker in my purse!! Aghhh...funny kid! I left it at Kmart..and happily went out the door...alarm free :)

Dolls! I love that Ellie has started playing with her dolls and using voices with them. It's so fun to listen to the conversations she has with them. Most of the time it's sharing names...and saying how much they like the other's dress, hair, or shoes. And sometimes it's about what they're going to do that day. Could there be any more pink in this picture? :)

Pumpkins from Poppie! Ellie's grandpa came up for a visit this weekend...and brought a nice surprise! Some pumpkins!! And it's been Ellie's favorite book lately too...Dora's pumpkin book. Cute little story about Dora's grandma making a pumpkin pie...and how Dora and Boots go to a pumpkin patch to find just the right pumpkin for her pie. Makes me SO ready for cooler weather...come on fall!!

Cookie face! We helped out at LLS's Light the Night Walk tonight. Great cause...and it's also where Mommy used to work. It had been a couple years since we were around to help..and so glad we did. I always get inspired by hearing other's stories...and Ellie had a good time dancing...moon bouncing with Daddy...and eating cookies :)

Princess Piggies! This kid cracks me up. She loves pigs. Why? I have no idea...cuz if she was around the real deal...she probably wouldn't feel that way at all :) I think it's probably because their pink...and pink is what she loves. We made a trip to Costco..and they had these there...and she's in need of some new piggie jammies...so there ya go. Still too hot here to wear these to bed yet...but she's prepared now :)

Pretty in purple :) Purple dress and purple crown. If she's anything like her Mommy she'll LOVE purple. That was my favorite color growing up...and I wonder if it had anything to do with Sweet Valley Twins. Anyone else read those books? I loved them...and Jessica Wakefield had a group of girls that wore purple every day. Funny how you remember little things like that...but if you ask me what I wore yesterday, I couldn't tell ya :)

Belle day...and a preview of her Halloween costume. I only let her wear it for like 15 minutes at a time. We watched the movie yesterday too, and pretty much knows the whole movie by heart. We have created a monster.

Tricked ya! I bet you thought you'd see her in her usual dress...but not today. Today she was purple. And strumming my guitar..and singing her favorite Tangled songs. Not bad...not too bad kid...maybe you'll be a rockstar :)

Which shoes Mommy? My jelly faced, cinderella dress loving...messy house maker...2 year old. This is my life. Right here. Spent picking up after this tornado blows through. I swear I have the same conversation with her everyday...Ellie...you need to start picking up all this stuff and putting it away...Mommy is tired of doing this by herself. sigh...I have a feeling I will be saying this for at least another 16 years..if not longer...

Princess style lounging. Yup...different dress today...but still in dress up clothes. It's the latest rage here...and I don't anticipate it stopping anytime soon! It's hard work being a princess!!

Babysitting. Ellie helped me take care of our good friend's little guy for a couple hours today. She said to me in the car on the way over there..."I wish I had a baby brother." Wow...we get it from her too now? LOL...funny girl!!

My salad. I know...looks like it should be a salad for the whole family right? Not when you're doing P90x...that salad's all for me. It is a monster...and I couldn't finish it all...but I tried. And we're sticking with this workout/eating plan. Hopefully more results to share in the future :)

Dressing Room? So she brings down all her dress up clothes...and has started hanging them on the hallway door knobs. Ok...Miss Ellie...we get it....we need a bigger house to display all your stuff :)

Seafood Festival! And a mud pit if I've ever seen one! We had a great time...despite all the mud...and Daddy got to taste test all the crab soups...while Mommy whoofed down her pulled pork sandwich :)

Dance class!! Yay!! It's that time of the year again...and dance class has started. Whoohoo! She's an old pro. We were remembering back to last year, and how she would cry when we left her in the room by herself. Not this year...shoved her in the door and walked out. Not a whimper or anything...and not even a kiss goodbye to Mommy. What a big girl :)

My little chef! Modeling her apron from Grammie C..and being an all around goofy kid. I swear...this kid knows how to make you laugh. She says and does the funniest things. How can you not love her!!

Preparing. So I have a photo shoot this weekend...more like a re-shoot. The hurricane messed up my last shoot...so this time I was preparing ahead. I rented some equipment to help me in case it was another rainy day...and Ellie was helping me test it out. She mostly rolled her eyes...and gave me a hard time...but as usual...I bribed with a sucker. Guess who won? :)

Movie time! We finally got to see Gnomeo & Juliet. Highly recommend it! It was hilarious...and entertaining for Ellie too. Elton John had a lot to do with the production of the movie and if you like his songs, you'll love this movie. Totally cracked me up :) Go out and rent it!!

What can I say. Again..no pants. I guess somedays we just don't feel like wearing pants. And that's ok. Maybe it's because it's easier to go potty without pants on...I don't know. But I'm ok with it. So be prepared to see her with no pants if you come for a visit :) LOL.

Uhhhh...oops! I popped of the antennae Mommy! LOL. It's so funny to me how she rediscovers some of her toys. She hasn't shown a lot of interest in her bug car in a while...but today...she was riding that thing all over :)

State Fair! We headed to the state fair today. Got some corn dogs...fish sandwiches...and some carnival games in. Ellie was a lucky duck pro and got a mini Foofa from Yo Gabba Gabba. Lots of people...lots of yummy ice cream...and some naps in the car on the way home. What more could we ask for? :)
